Configuration file
Use this page when you run FuseScope yourself and change how the backend starts: database, URLs, email or single sign-on.
The backend reads its settings from built-in defaults, then from YAML files passed with
--config, then from environment variables. Each source overrides the previous one.
fusescope server --config /etc/fusescope/config.yaml--config can be repeated; later files override earlier ones, key by key. A file that
does not exist is an error.
The container image runs fusescope server, so pass the flag as an argument. The Helm
chart does it for you when signoz.config
is set.
Every key, with its default, is documented in
conf/example.yaml.
Copy only the keys you change.

Environment variables
Section titled “Environment variables”Any key can be set with an environment variable named after its path:
- prefix
SIGNOZ_; - a single
_separates levels; - a double
__stands for an underscore inside a key name.
